Shekina

Formed by original Magma members François Cahen and Yochk'o (Jeff) Seffer, ZAO are notorious for having created their own unique sub-genre of French jazz-rock. Taking pointers from the early Magma instrumental style, they added elements of Mahavishnu type rhythmic structures, touches of ethnic and classical musics, and East European cultures, endowed by Seffer's Polish origins.
