Schubert: Symphonies Nos. 8 & 9

An ideal coupling of the two Schubert symphonies that accompanied Karajan throughout his performing career. Karajan recorded the entire Schubert symphony cycle only once, but both these works three times over a period of more than twenty years. The present recordings now return to the catalogue after a long absence.
