サンタナの３枚目のアルバム。サウンドは１枚目や２枚目とさほど変化はない。何とニール・ショーンが加入し、カルロス・サンタナとバリバリのツインリードギターを繰り広げる。この作品発表後オリジナル・サンタナは崩壊し、激しいメンバーチェンジの幕開けとなる。
