All credit to Davy Henderson's crew of bloody-minded Scots on Received, Transgressed & Transmitted for continuing to make records of a kind which are less fashionable and commercial now then at any time since post-punk's early 1980s heyday--noisy, arty, angular, tuneful, painful, lyrically obtuse and at times downright belligerent records.
