Description: Born in Newfoundland, Canada but raised in suburban New Hampshire, Jodi enjoyed an almost storybook American childhood that included activities like piano lessons, swim team, and cheerleading. After a brief stint as a graduate student in poetry, Jodi left academia and began transforming her highly coherent, lyrical poetry into songs. Only a year after she picked up her first guitar.
