On Purpose

D+ is almost more of an art project than band. After Beat Happening strummed its last chords, Bret Lunsford returned to his hometown of Anacortes and asked two of the towns' most gifted musicians (Phil Elverum and Karl Blau) to join him in his new project. On Purpose compiles ten years of experiments, alternate takes, demos, and live tracks from one of the Pacific Northwest's most important groups.
