Moonspell-Sin/Pecado

Released in 1998, Sin/Pecado is the third full-length album by the Portuguese metal band Moonspell. The album title is a Portuguese/English wordplay: pecado translates to sin in English, but sin pecado translates to without sin. It may originate from the expression Ave María purísima sin pecado concebido (Hail, most pure Mary, conceived without sin), a statement often exclamated in moments of excitement or displeasure by religious catholics in Spain, Portugal and Spanish/Portuguese-speaking countries like Puerto Rico, etc.
