Originally released by legendary label Malicious Records (Gorgoroth, Mortiis, Aura Noir) in 1997, Kampfar's Mellom Skogkledde Aaser debut album solidified the Norwegians' sound for the future, with its wild mix of raw, hypnotic black metal and ominous folk melodies.
