The ever-dependable Coen Brothers come up trumps again with The Man Who Wasn't There, the follow-up to their hugely successful film O Brother Where Art Thou. And while the latter had huge crossover potential on the soundtrack front, with its potted history of early American music, this time around it's a more subdued and subtle affair, just like the film it accompanies.
