fantastic trip hop album

this is one of the rare trip hop albums, i now and then find that manages to blow me away. not that there's a lot of trip hop i don't like listening to, there just isn't really a lot of trip hop around to begin with.

1999 debut album by female artist with a voice similar to Bjork in her oh so quiet moments, and signed to the same label the former Sugarcubes female vocalist is on, One Little Indian. The haunting & mysterious album falls somewhere between Portishead & Dusty Springfield, was produced by Tears For Fears' Roland Orzabal, features guest drumming from Siggi (Sugarcubes) and Clive Deamer (Portishead), and includes the singles 'To Be Free', 'Dead Things' & 'Baby Blue'. 11 tracks total. 1999 release.
