Los Angeles based melodic sludgy doom band Bereft released its first track Withered Efflorescence exclusively via their Facebook page in early September 2011 to rave reviews and online buzz. Charles Elliott (vocals, guitars) has stated that Bereft is all about dark, depressing doom... definitely different from what we do in our usual bands. It's heavy as hell and we re all really proud of how the record and collaboration came out, and we hope people feel the same way.
