In fact, not only is this his second solo album, he's Scottish and unlike anyone I've ever heard of. The album is powerful and extortionate. 'Break my Heart' is a thumping opener with deep lyrics and fantastic vocals. 'Devastation' sounds a lot like Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue's 'Where the Wild Roses Grow'. It's almost heartfelt yet hurtful, and powerful yet mellow and chilled out. 'Monday Night Nothing' it is just The Pogues, but a Scottish version. In fact the whole album is virtually inspired by The Pogues. The Celtic thing is there. 'Bear with me' is the rockiest song on the album. It almost has an edgy but soft feel to it.
