The Wild Swans Recorded Several Sessions for the BBC, for John Peel, Kid Jensen and Janice Long, and Did a Few Live Shows Including Supports to the Teardrop Explodes During the Infamous "Club Zoo" in Liverpool in 1981. They Split in 1981 but Reformed in 1986 and Recorded Two Albums for Sire Records. This Double CD Release features all of their Early Recordings Including the Classic Peel Session and the Original Mixes of the Legendary 'the Revolutionary Spirit/God Forbid' Single, plus Rare Live Recordings and Demos. None of this Material Has Been Released on CD Before. Packaged in a Slipcase, the CD Includes a Lavish 24-page Booklet featuring Interviews with the Band, a Biography and a Track-by-track Commentary by Paul Simpson.
