Holy Diver

After Ronnie James Dio left Black Sabbath in 1982, he formed a band that had his name on it. It wasn t a solo project, it was a band, Dio was born and in 1983 the band released their debut album 'Holy Diver.' Ronnie carefully chose his bandmates for this album, which included Vinny Appice, his former Sabbath mate on drums, veteran bassist Jimmy Bain, Ronnie's longtime bandmate from Rainbow, and a then unknown, young Irish guitarist Vivian Campbell. 'Holy Diver' is considered by many to be the best Heavy Metal album of the 80's and continuously ranks in Top 10 polls for both 'Best Album' and 'Best Album of Art' of All-Time!
