Heroes of Nature is Smoke City's first release since the album that featured Levi's advert track "Underwater Love" was released in 1997. While Flying Away was the album that made Smoke City, mostly because of the single, follow up Heroes of Nature doesn't contain a song with this obvious star quality. However, it is more than able to stand up by itself, again relying on a mixture of Brazilian influences mixed with more standard down-tempo ballads which showcase the vocals of Nina Miranda.
