2011 debut album from the British acoustic-based Alt-Rock band. If you liked Cowboy Junkies and Mazzy Star's narcotic acoustica, you'll like what this Newcastle sextet do: they are steeped in Americana. Meanwhile, the band themselves have acknowledged the influence of slowcoustic pioneers Low and avatars of atmospherica Sigur R¢s, while others have compared them to '80s mainstays of the 4AD label, This Mortal Coil, and there is indeed some of this quasi-chamber-pop ambience in what they do.
