The fourth album by Primal Scream, Give Out But Don't Give Up caused something of a stir amongst critics and fans alike for being so overtly rock & roll after their acid-tinged Screamadelica. With an obvious nod to the blues-rock of the Rolling Stones, Primal Scream explored the roots of their funky psychedelia, resulting in such outstanding tracks as "Jailbird" and "Rocks".
