It's been said countless times that music is a universal language. You could also say that dancing takes this one step further (pardon the pun) because the music experience goes from passive listening to active participation. Hardly some DJ mega-mix collection, Feet features a smart collection of 13 up-tempo tracks that emphasize living breathing musicians playing and, for the most part, singing about having a good time. There are some concessions to modern times (remixes by Bob Holroyd, TJ Rehmi, and Baron Lopez) and a few electric beats, but this is certainly not what we've come to expect in a global dance record.
