Anchored by three tracks from the pioneering Real Roxanne and two apiece by the ultraconfident Queen Latifah and the inimitably nasty Roxanne Shanté, this disc of trailblazing women in hip-hop has a few significant gaps as a survey but kicks like crazy as a string of surefire jams.
