Live Alien Broadcast (or LAB) draw from pop, funk, hip-hop, and alternative rock to form a unique yet familiar sound. The band features a two-guitar attack with a funky rhythm section and a DJ, comparable to a 311 or 2 Skinnee J's, but with more emphasis on melodies. The band's second release, even further takes LAB to new levels of popularity in the Mid-Atlantic, garnering them a spot on the ESPN X-Games X-perience Tour, which lead to a mention in Alternative Press. LAB is definitely establishing itself as one of the bands to watch for on the alternative scene.
