As another slab of exceedingly danceable, electro-laden funk, the Lo Fidelity Allstars' Don't Be Afraid of Love makes for addictive listening, whether you've already learned How to Operate with a Blown Mind or not. The moody opening track, "What You Want," certainly gets the party started, but it does little to set the tone for the rest of the album. Clashing guitars give way to Lisa Millet's emotive vocal on the Balearic "Lo-Fi's in Ibiza" and from there on in, it's hooky samples, pure Vocoder soul, and familiar, frenetic acoustics all the way.
