Dark Star

For many, Dark Star is little more than a footnote in the book that is to be called The History Of The NWOBHM , a band warmly remembered for one outstanding track that quite rightly features regularly in lists made the world over of the greatest ever NWOBHM tracks. Understandable though this slightly blinkered attitude is, it is also wide of the mark by quite some way. Check the album out and you ll see that it isn t all just about Lady Of Mars . Opener Kaptain Amerika with its cold war message; the stomping Backstreet Killer and the anthemic Rockbringer all ably show just how good a band Dark Star were.
