Long considered the runts of the Britpop litter, Shed Seven struggled valiantly for respect, but never quite found it. Their faults were easily apparent--Rick Witter's vocals were more enthusiastic than accomplished, and both musically and lyrically (from "Casino Girl": "I can see through all your see-through clothes/I've got to see ya 'cos I like ya loads"), their songs were, shall we say, rather less than revolutionary.
