The dark offspring of singers/songwriters' Aim‚e Nash and Scott Von Ryper, The Black Ryder's music strikes you as beautiful, yet somehow sinister in its beauty. It's so tempting to simply let yourself follow it and you do... It's a slow decent into the depths of The Black Ryder, it may at times feel uneasy as the feeling kicks in, but in a wink you will find yourself calm and at peace, even in their more eruptive moments. This is mainly due to the intoxicating vocals of the band's two leaders; voices that seem to dance in and out of one another like old and strange friends. It's a double-edged and inviting sword that beckons the listener, the lure of the voice sucks you in close, before your ears and heart are blown into the nebula by a sonic gash.
