In this format, "Whistle While You Work" receives the majestic treatment of Beethoven-like builds along with the playfulness of his symphony Pastoral (No. 6). Arranger Donald Fraser's adaptation of "Bella Notte," from Lady and the Tramp, is redone in the style of Erik Satie's three Gymnopédies; harmonies and pacing are adjusted to suit Satie's interplay of dark and light and the Disney melody is poignantly played atop the structure by sauntering flute and violin.
