Description:
Formed in Toronto in 1975, Triumph were one of the few bands to boast the inclusion of a lead vocalist/drummer in the shape of the towering Gil Moore. Completing the line-up were guitarist/vocalist Rik Emmett and bassist/keyboardist Mike Levine, who, along with Moore, released their self-titled debut album via the independent Attic label in 1976. Triumph enjoyed incredible success with their RCA albums, Just A Game (1979) and the UK charting Progression Of Power (1980), which included the UK hit single 'I Live For The Weekend'.
