Alan Hovhaness: Symphony No. 22 ("City of Light"); Cello Concerto

I found Hovhaness's Symphony No.22 to be very similar to Celestial Gate. Both are wonderful and contain bookends, sort-of-speak, with very slow movements in the middle. The Cello Concerto is a great piece as well and wasn't released for over 65 years, until 2003.
