BORING. VERY BORING. Be forewarned! Did not endear ANY of the characters to the audience, which made for a difficult movie to sit through. Understandably, this was based on real people (and maybe the real people are really, just so unlikable), but perhaps better writing could have made the audience more compassionate towards a certain person or another.

Paris, 1957. When he was only 21 years old, Yves Saint Laurent became fashion designer for the prestigious haute couture house founded by Christian Dior, who had just past away. During his first brilliant runway show, he met Pierre Bergé and this meeting changed his life completely. Both lovers and business partners, The two men created the company Yves Saint Laurent three years later. Despite his obsessions and nightmares , Yves Saint Laurent was then on his way to revolutionize the fashion world.
The film by Jalil Lespert tells the story of the early years of this extraordinarily talented and successful fashion designer.
