This Is Where I Leave You review

This is directed by Shawn Levy who has had some hits and misses. For me he has made hits more than misses though. It helps that he has a pretty great cast to work with. So this isn't a new concept as it's been done a few times. I mean now it's becoming hard to think of anything truly original, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not worth watching. Now that being said it does however have it's own little twist to it. I mean I know nothing about Judaism. So it's interesting to learn about what Shivah is. The mother in this reminds me a lot of the mother from Two and a Half Men. The characters are all really interesting with various clashing personalities. Alright so this wasn't exactly what I was expecting it to be from the synopsis. This has to be one of the most dysfunctional and craziest family I have seen on film. I actually really enjoyed this. The ending was wonderful although I wished somethings that didn't happen would have happened. It definitely put me in my feelings where I thought about my family and how we act together. It's great and I think it should be watched as a family.
