"Apparently this was the 1st Japanese movie to have a vampire as a villain in a modern setting. Japanese vampires aren't the same as those in the West...well not this one anyway. Firstly it's the light of a full moon that transforms the person into a vampire, it's reflection can be seen in mirrors and holy crosses doesn't seem to affect it.
