Description:
Marie Clark, who works as an astrologer named Madame Thebe, tells the story of her past life to Henry Martin, a client who wishes to marry her. Years before, her jealous husband had threatened the life of another of her clients, Franklin Davis. Marie fainted during a struggle between the two and awoke to find her husband dead and a revolver in her hand. The threat of exposure from Davis forced her to give up her daughter and move to a distant city with him, where she met and fell in love with a man named Phillip Morse.
