An average movie

Posted : 6 years, 10 months ago on 11 June 2017 08:56

To be honest, I didn't expect much from this movie but since it was the last movie directed by the Farrelly brothers that I hadn't seen yet, I still wanted to check it out. Well, unfortunately, as usual with these guys, I didn't care much for the damned thing, I'm afraid. First of all, I have to admit it, even though I have heard about The Three Stooges, I have actually never seen one of their sketches but, apparently, this movie was quite respectful. Anyway, maybe this kind of humor was awesome back in those days but I'm afraid it didn't grow old very well and now it looks just annoying and not entertaining whatsoever. For the Farrelly brothers, this movie was yet another flop, even after spending about a decade on this project but the fact that all the famous actors involved at some point (Jim Carrey, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn) dropped was not a good omen and the actors they got instead didn't really impress me but, on the other hand, they weren't not helped by this material. Anyway, to conclude, maybe the fan of The Three Stooges will love the damned thing but I thought it was rather cringe-inducing to behold and I don't think it is really worth a look.

A very funny film! The show is obviously a classic. This one proves that this style of humor does not age.

The Three Stooges review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 13 July 2012 05:09

The Three Stooges, Moe, Larry and Curly hitting the cinema screen after setting the screen ablaze in past. New actors plating Moe, Larry & Curly than the ones we used to see on old hilarious movies.

Beginning in the 1930s these immortal three characters ran amok for decades in some 200 short films, busting the viewers with laughter. 2012 is the time of revival, starting with โ€œThe Three Stooges: The Movie,โ€

Set in the present, the movie is a story about three sort-of-lovable fools, raised in orphanage, not to mention broken hell over there, set out to save the orphanage from closure.

Good movie treat to watch when one wanna get relaxed.
