Description:
Charlie is a precocious young boy living on a farm in the country. In the wake of his mother’s recent death, Charlie finds himself suddenly responsible for household tasks. His efforts are unappreciated by his father and brothers. Determined to gain their attention, Charlie begins teaching himself to play hockey during late night sessions on the family’s outdoor rink. One cold winter night while practicing, Charlie encounters an unusual stranger–an elderly neighbor that offers to be his coach.
