The Rezort review

Posted : 7 years, 10 months ago on 23 June 2016 08:06

I am a zombie movie fanatic. Besides slasher films it's one of my favorite sub-genre of horror. This one sounds like an interesting premise. It's kind of Land of the Dead meets Jurassic Park. Oh this is directed by the guy who did the first two Outpost movies (the only good ones). This writer though I've never heard of. It also has a few good actors in my opinion at least. So I guess our main character wants revenge on the undead. Not sure all too much about her story. Other people look at this like a thrill ride. Okay I wonder what Dougray Scott's character is up to. This is kind of demented, but it still kind of looks like fun. So are these kind of smart zombies or something? Of course things start to go down at night when you can barely see. Well that answers that. Also that would have been terrifying! Oh jeez that was intense. I knew it had to happen but damn. This is really making me grip the edges of my seat with its intensity. Oh no come on! Are you freaking kidding me!? Do it! Karma is a bitch. That part reminded me of 28 Weeks Later. I knew that was going to happen. I wasn't expecting that ending though. Okay this is actually really well done for a under the radar sort of film. The production is nice. The acting is fairly good. You are actually interested in the characters. There is even a possibility of a sequel of sorts. This is probably one of the better zombie films recently sense it doesn't get dragged down by Hollywood nonsense. If you are a zombie fanatic like me I highly recommend this one.
