Description:
Wonder Valley, California is a remote high desert community sparsely inhabited by retirees, artists, meth lab operators and everyday folks just making a living. For every occupied home, there are five deserted broken down cabins, usually with the haunting remains of the last occupants' belongings strewn about the landscape.
Shortly after moving to Wonder Valley, filmmakers Kristina and Nick Higgins came upon a series of cabin properties that had been cleaned up and landscaped, the existing bushes watered and rock walkways made for imaginary occupants.
