“To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this flick but since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. After the runaway success of ‘The Notebook’, they kept making such Nicholas Sparks film adaptations and this one was actually the very last one. Apparently, it was a disappointment at the box office so they considered that the interest in this specific kind of romantic movies had seemingly vanished so they dropped the genre all together afterwards.
