Separated from his parents, David Hepner meets a band of cattle thieves who ask him to join them, intending to use his youth and innocence for criminal ends. An oldtimer of the plains and sidekick of his father helps the boy escape, and together they rescue Sally Parker, held for ransom by the same group of outlaws.
