The Suicide Squad review

Posted : 1 year, 1 month ago on 21 March 2023 02:39

De mal gusto, pero bastante graciosa. El estilo visual sostiene parte de la experiencia. Logra que te preocupes por uno que otro personaje, y aunque esto no es mucho, entiendo que haya gustado por el contraste con la película anterior.

A good movie

Since I kept hearing some pretty good things about this flick, I was quite eager to check it out. First of all, I must be one of the very few people on Earth who didn’t think that ‘Suicide Squad’ was a complete disaster. On the other hand, I have to admit that I don’t remember much about it but I don’t think I’m really willing to check it again just to make sure it is indeed just as lame as everybody seems to think. Anyway, as a result, to be honest, even if I did enjoy this sequel/soft reboot by James Gunn, I didnt think it was such a massive improvement though. However, I have to admit that it is still such a neat concept though. Indeed, because all the characters involved are such low-lifes, they are not inhibited by any moral compass like your standard super-heroes. As a result, they actually can kill a whole bunch of people, resulting very often in some massive bloodbaths and, on top of that, they are actually much more fun than many righteous and, to be honest, rather boring, super-heroes like Superman for example. In this case, James Gunn came up with a really weird obscure but still entertaining set of characters. I also did appreciate the fact that he killed off so many of them usually in a really random way. Still, I wish that they did give Sylvester Stallone more dialogues as King Shark as the character, with such a specific voice, could have been pure gold. Unfortunately, eventually, it turned out to be basically a shark version of Groot which was rather disappointing. Anyway, it was all fairly entertaining but I guess my main issue was with the plot. Indeed, even if it was rather generic, with such a name, it was rather logical that they would be sent on some kind of suicide mission. However, after watching so many super-hero flicks during the last 15 years, its getting really tedious that every single one of these movies have to end up apparently with a huge battle against usually a huge monster which threatens every living thing on Earth. Anyway, to conclude, even if it didnt really blow me away, it was still a decent watch and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.

a hell of a ride. shouldn't have worked. the odds were stacked against it. the pieces that had to line up in order to get this done were scattered to the four winds. And yet. here it is. the exact proper tone throughout. Amazing performances and an extremely deep bench of talent.

The Suicide Squad review

OK...isn't bad, funny as usual as James Gunn's flick, but I'm here for Aussie Margot not for the rest...and Miss Robbie is too much dressed in this movie, she didn't show an inch of her pale skin in a movie showing male naked butt and also a real dick...Millenials ! I still like Margot's demonic chuckle but I think The Suicide Squad is a step backward for Harley's character, Harley must be the craziest of the crazies...but John Cena appear as the craziest...maybe Gunn's fetish actor Michael Rooker wins the crown, and about fetish-actress there's a cameo of Pom Klemetieff as a dancer in the Gatita Amable scene.
I found Elba's acting too much British as usual and acting of narcoleptic Melchior irritating, but you know, I'm not a Detective Comics fan, maybe you'll found both actors terrific... Viola Davis punch in face and bitchy as the first one, big difference instead in Flag's character...but I found him boring as death. Kinnaman is a hunk, but he's good for Robocop...enouff said.
Gosh...I have to wait another 2 years for the next Guardian of the Galaxt for this one, I don't know if it was worth the wait...and learn Basic Italian... è Corto Maltese cazzo...NO Cort Malteez...NO Coto Meltes...
