(OK) Apart from a weak actor as Scipione; everything is brilliant. From Cabiria to this Scipione mass action in italian cinema is in its peak. "26.10. The mass scenes are still nice to look at, but the poor narrative sucks the life out of the film. I think it is good that the Italians at least had decency to keep it short enough: this is barely longer than 1h and 40 mins, which is just right."
