It may not be much in terms of story and writing, but what it lacks in that category it makes up for with over the top action. It's really off the rails with the gore and it's even more out there than the previous Punisher. It's a really solid comic book movie and it sucks that The Punisher could never catch a break when it comes to film adaptations."
