To be honest, it has been a while since I have seen this flick but even though it has a rather lame title, I thought it was actually a solid thriller. Sure, the whole thing was pretty much straightforward and we have all seen this gimmick many times before with a murky murder case told to the police by someone involved through some flashbacks. Eventually, maybe that’s why I actually enjoyed the damned thing, the fact that it was a simple story told without too many bullsh*t. Indeed, even though most thrillers have the potential to be entertaining, in my opinion, most of them rely on some really preposterous plots and I’m pretty much sick of all those really stupid twist endings. Well, with this movie, they didn’t give us an amazing live-changing masterpiece but, at least, they provided some realistic and believable characters and a story which seemed for the most part to be plausible and I thought it was just really refreshing. On a side note, even though it seems like ages ago, back in those days, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis were one of the golden couples in Hollywood and it was one of the very few movies that they would eventually make together. To conclude, I actually have a weak spot for this flick and I think it is worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
