A good movie

By now, I think we pretty much know everything that needs to be known about Michael Jackson so I'm not sure if we really needed yet another documentary about the King of Pop but since it was directed by Spike Lee, I thought I might as well give it a try. Well, eventually, even though it was nothing really mind-blowing, it was still a decent watch though. Basically, this time, they decided to focus on the time when Michael Jackson started with the Jackson 5 until his first solo album was released. What was really interesting about this time periode is that it was probably the best time in the singer's life. Indeed, back in those days, it was all about the music and about proving to the rest of the world what he was worth so he was in my opinion at the top of his game. Later on, he would still release some amazing music, no doubt about it, but his ever-growing superstar status would keep overshadowing more and more his work. Ultimately, like many other documentaries of this kind, all the people just loved the guy which was sligthly boring and, to be honest, half of their comments were not really interesting. Anyway, to conclude, even though I have never been a huge fan of Michael Jackson, I still liked the damned thing and I think it is worth a look, especially if you are interested by this subject.ย
