Unknown hands are busy pulling at the emergency brake, causing the train to miss the transfer. The man to blame for the act is Teddy, a man of the world and a born cynic, whose favourite hat has been blown off by the wind, which he feels he has to avenge himself for in such a way. The passengers are trapped for the night at the station in this God-forsaken place. They are intruded on by a group of gun-runners. They recount stories of a train of ghosts which, they say, is expected shortly to zoom past the station as has been the tradition since a train accident took place twenty years ago... (MaNDA)
