Three Bells (Három csengő) (1941)

Kovalszky arrives at the Danube-Bank Hotel as a foreign gentleman. Two members of the staff, Miklós, the waiter and Anna, the house-maid are planning their life together. Kovalszky makes passes at Anna. A jeweller appears and Kovalszky, who is a burglar actually, offers him his plunder for sale. He wants to begin a new life with stolen jewels. For his plan he finds partner in Anna, who is desiring sumptuous life. Later we learn that the ring belonged to Vera and suspicion falls on Anna, who is about to leave with Kovalszky... (MaNDA)
