Please Let This Really Be The End

Posted : 3 months, 3 weeks ago on 28 January 2024 10:24

This is a horrible attempt to trade off the most iconic slasher film ever made. Aside from the music, the fact that is has Jamie Lee Curtis in it, and the mask it has no resemblance to the real thing. Worse than that-worse than being a bad Halloween installment it is a bad horror movie. It is as boring was boring could be- the complete antithesis of the original John Carpenter, low budget, thriller. The attempt to create a supernatural thread tying this dumb story to the original is just disappointing. This only has two stars because of nostalgic reasons. It actually deserves less than that. What were they thinking. What was JLC thinking?

Let the poor Myers rest in peace

Finally the end of the trilogy! Gone are the halcyon days of evil dies tonight, instead we are inflicted with a continuation on the half-hearted rumination of how society deals with the legacy of brutality and how it treats the victims of said brutality that Kills was so concerned with. Except this time, it's not interrupted by disconnected scenes of Michael Myers killing people. In fact, Michael barely kills anyone in this (if I were to hear the ratio of people killed by Michael to people killed by someone other than Michael before I saw the film, I would have been shocked), and he's not at all involved in the only memorable scene of the movie. Considering Green and McBride had 2 more years than they initially planned on to write this, it's hard to believe that that was the best they could come up with.

ย Jamie lee curtis i'm so sorry but the last 10 minutes is not enough for me to forgive corey's ugly ass & allyson cringy for the most part of the movie.

And I hope they don't make more sequels to the franchise, let poor Myers rest!
