"This is a good, solid thriller whose single greatest strength is how perfectly it nails the illusion of being in space. The way they simulate zero-gravity is utterly convincing, right down to the minutest details, and the cinematography adds all the more to that by making the camera seem like it too is floating. This flawless recreation of space also enhances the desperation of the story, as Sandra Bullock's character succumbs more and more to loneliness and the pressures of the danger she's in."

"May 29th 6.7 Spoilers!!! Congratulations to the visual effect and cinematography department for their work on this film. The first orbit of debris literally gave me goosebumps. However, despite all the visual spectacle the movie was diminished by poor character development and piss poor dialogue throughout most of the movie. "The idea of being lost in space has never been portrayed in such a realistic and frightening way as director Alfonso Cuarรณn's agoraphobic nightmare. Sandra Bullock may get top billing as an astronaut struggling to survive a deadly meteor shower while coming to terms with her own all-to-human inadequacies, but the movie's real star is its villain: the absolute, all-encompassing nothingness of space. Thanks to dizzying CGI and Bullock's 90-minute panic attack, Gravity is horror as much as sci-fi,"
"2016/01/01 @home on Google Play via Roku With Kendra Dr. Stone is a stark contrast to Jupiter Jones from our earlier movie. While Jupiter is a worthless heroine who couldn't save herself out of a paper bag, Stone is a strong woman who can save herself, or at least tries to do so. The special effects are amazing. You know they must be using CGI but it never shows. Very entertaining and worthwhile watch. "
