The Great Zambini (El Gran Zambini) (2005)

The remains of an ancient circus can still be seen on the outskirts of a big city, as we follow the story of an aging circus performer and the troubled relationship he has with his young son. In the surreal life of the circus performer, there comes a time when parenting is more important than an audience’s applause. Can a young boy be proud of his unique father? Can a father use his God-given talents to impress his only son? This short film takes us on an emotional journey without words, to a place where fathers and sons come together in mutual admiration.
