Gingerdead Man vs. Evil Bong review

Posted : 7 years, 8 months ago on 22 August 2016 07:13

So now we come to the crossover of the series. Charles Band once again returns to direct, but it looks like Domonic Muir has taken a break this time around. Instead Kent Roudebush takes on the script. Not everyone returns this time around, but we do get a few more familiar faces than the last two. Well we are off to a good start with this opening scene. I definitely cannot complain about that. At least the Gingerdead Man's face is fixed except for those teeth haha. That is one interesting guy for sure. Haha that fourth wall breaking though. Ah so we got another rehash here. This time we see bits from the first three films. The flashbacks make me miss Brett and Bachman. It looks like they won't even be coming back. The name of that shop haha! There is that little creature that I remember from the first one. Oh man it looks like we are getting the Gingerdead rehash as well. That first kill was kind of weak. That was amusing. Well then that's an unexpected reveal. Good lord that ending was so underwhelming. It's at least better than the previous Evil Bong movie. Robin Sydney is definitely a new crush I have discovered watching these movies. They could have had better kills or something like that though. The gags were decent. This series has been more or less amusing and surprisingly far from the worst I've seen. You have to know what you're getting yourself in for and then you may get a kick out of it.
