“I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but since it was selected by IndieWire as one of the best movies released in 2022 so far and since it was available on Disney+, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, even though it definitely did have some potential, to be honest, I wasn’t completely sold though. Sure, I have to admit that the directing by first-timer Mimi Cave was pretty neat and she managed to create a really nice mood. Furthermore, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan both did deliver some really solid performances. Movies the giraffe watched in 2022: May (35 movies items)"First viewing - May 11th Hulu Fresh is a twisted good time that most benefits from its well-constructed characters & strong cast. It totally invested me in our protagonist's journey & isn't afraid to mix the dark with humor. Both sides worked for me. There were a few aspects which could've been explored a little more deeply, but overall I was satisfied with it & could watch it again."
