Over Action Movie showing how an errand becomes emotional and the guy fights for rescuing the boy even at the cost of its own life. Good Action.

An average movie

To be honest, I wasn't really sure what to expect from this flick but since it was starring Chris Hemsworth and since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, eventually, it turned out to be not bad at all after all. Indeed, I would go as far as saying that it is, so far, the first satisfying blockbuster delivered by the giant streaming service. Of course, it still doesn't mean that it was great as it was a rather low bar to attain but, still, it was a step in the right direction. Above all, the action scenes were just really badass. Obviously, there was the almost 12 minutes long take which was really neat but everything else in this area was just very convincing and quite entertaining. Unfortunately, the movie didn't have much else to offer, I'm afraid, and, at some point, the endless shoot-outs became rather repetitive. Above all, they didn't manage to really cover up the plot-holes in the story. For example, there was no good reason why Ovi's father would jeopardise the job done by the rescue team trying to save his son. Furthermore, if the main character was interesting and convincing thanks to a really solid performance by Chris Hemsworth, the guy was unfortunately pretty much on his own and they struggled with the other characters. As a result, they tried to build up a relationship between him and Ovi but it didn't make much sense. Indeed, if Ovi would despise his drug baron father for killing so many people, why would he care so much for Tyler Rake who was a mercenary who killed who knows how many people in front of his very eyes? Anyway, to conclude, in spite of its flows, it was still a decent watch and it is worth a look, especially if you like the genre.

Much better than 6 Underground which was all fine action and no plot. A plus is when you have a good cast, nice locations and fine action, and no Michael Bay.
I wouldnโ€™t mind seeing more Tyler Rake movies. Hemsworth kicks ass as him. Itโ€™s probably his best role next to Thor. He takes on many at once in John Wick like fashion.
